Its been a while - had some body work to do ...

been quiet on the blog as not much riding was on. Nevertheless while nurturing a left foot Achilles rupture the Zero comes in handy. No gears need shifting so on you jump and ride ... just gently.

I just tried the lower Corbin seat and it seems great. To sad that America did not include to bracket to mount in properly. So now it is gone all back and we wait some more weeks.
Had as well some "power outs". The first one going 80km/h, dark 3 lane fast road and rainy/wet. suddenly the bike started loosing power, warning light was not coming on, so did not hit the kill switch. The two bikes just behind me (petrol of cause) now caught up and overtook ... then at around 50km/h and me thinking how to push my way back home the motor cuts in again.
Next day, going in stop and go traffic and suddenly total power loss. I pull the main switch. Wait a couple of seconds and then no problem to ride on.
Now -- lets see how the next days go.

Black Beauty arrived A naked Zero S ready for more customising

Now she has arrived. This is the first cut and one can see that there are still some white bits. Will work on these now as the DS has them all in black as well. I don't mind the battery being white - sure on the 2011 models looks good. Zero Australia was great organising these different pannels.
I am certain to try out the lower Corbin seat as I like an as low as possible centre of gravity.

Runs -- great, fun and quiet.

Black beauty being build and shipped

My Zero S is being build and will come all in black - a canvas ready to be worked on. Planning to see how I can shape/cut the plastics to create a naked bike.

Just a pity that I just ruptured my Achilles tendon - guess the Zero is easier to ride than my Harley as the left foot is the challenge..

Riding the future - soon

Now the Zero S has been ordered. Looking forward to ride just with the noise of the wind.
